Brooklyn Decker’s Latest IMDb Credit
Brooklyn Decker negotiated her introduction to the acting world thanks to a guest appearance in Ugly Betty, then a starring role in Just Go With It, followed by snagging a position in Battleship along with Rihanna and Alexander Skarsgård, but that’s only the beginning. The model turned actress just scored another major role! Brooklyn’s set to play Skyler in What To Expect When You’re Expecting, alongside Cameron Diaz, Isla Fisher, and Jennifer Lopez. Filming is said to begin this summer, with a release date scheduled for May 11, 2012. The film focuses on five couples experiencing the joy of pregnancy and learning what to expect regarding their upcoming bundle of joys. Brooklyn’s role in the film is that of a woman married to a much older man, pregnant with twins. While fellow interlocking stories show the different aspects of pregnancy, Brooklyn’s character simply breezes through her pregnancy – despite the fact that she’s giving birth to two!
Brooklyn Decker Joins Lionsgate’s ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’
Brooklyn Decker has been cast to star alongside Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez in Lionsgate’s film adaptation of the bestseller What To Expect When You’re Expecting. The Kirk Jones-directed romantic comedy is set to begin shooting this summer ahead of a May 11, 2012 release. Decker, repped by Gersh and Marilyn Talent, is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who made her feature debut in this year’s Just Go WIth It. She also will appear in Universal’s Battleship. In the ensemble What To Expect, she will play the perky wife of a much older man who sails through her pregnancy with twins, much to the consternation of her friends.
Brooklyn Decker Joins Pregnancy Comedy ‘What to Expect’
Brooklyn Decker is joining the pregnancy comedy “What to Expect When You Are Expecting,” Lionsgate announced on Thursday.
The model and actress is best known for strutting around in a swimsuit, but she is branching out into the film world.
She narrowly missed playing the female lead in “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” and is slated to appear in Universal’s tentpole film “Battleship.”
“What to Expect,” the famous pregnancy advice book, is being turned somewhat improbably into a romantic comedy.
No word yet if Decker will be spotting a baby bump herself, but she will be acting alongside Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez.

Brooklyn Decker In ‘What To Expect When You’re Expecting’: Model/Actress Joins Film
Perhaps it’s time to stop leading off her biography with note of her modeling career; now, it’s become clear that Brooklyn Decker is more than just a pretty (okay, gorgeous) face (and body).
The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Cover Model has been cast in her third major motion picture, joining the star-studded lineup already assembled for the self help book-to-film, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.” Decker made her film debut in the Jennifer Aniston-Adam Sandlerwinter comedy, “Just Go With It,” and is starring in the upcoming big budget action thriller, “Battleship.”
So yes, she likes unexpectedly adapted properties, it seems.
According to a release from Lionsgate, Decker, “will play Skyler in one of the film’s interlocking stories. The perennially perky character, who is married to a much older man, sails through her pregnancy with twins much to the consternation of her peers.”
Decker is the latest beauty to join the film; already,Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez are committed to what will be a “Valentine’s Day”-style set of interweaving storylines about pregnancy and relationships.
Ed Helms has also joined the project, though, presumably, he won’t be that fourth pregnant woman. Kirk Jones, director of “Waking Ned Divine,” will be behind the camera.
Words can’t say how proud we are of Brooklyn for getting this role & we are completely sure she will rock this movie!
