Brooklyn Decker and More CBS Stars Set for 2014 SXSW!

CBS is bound for SXSW with fun meet-and-greets, activities and giveaways! The schedule, which spans from Friday, March 7 through Wednesday, March 12, is as follows:

#FWBL Happy Hour with Brooklyn Decker and Zoe Lister-Jones:

Toast and mingle with Brooklyn Decker and Zoe Lister-Jones, stars of CBS’s upcoming new comedy series FRIENDS WITH BETTER LIVES, at a Friends with Better Wine Happy Hour from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, March 7 at the Cru Wine Bar (238 W. 2nd St, Austin, TX 78701). First-come, first-served. Friends with Better Lives premieres Monday, March 31, and also stars Kevin Connolly, Majandra Delfino, James Van Der Beek and Rick Donald. (@fwblCBS)
From Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9, fans can score a free ride to their next local destination in specially domed pedi-cabs, designed as an homage to the Network’s hit summer series UNDER THE DOME. The back of the vehicles are also branded with the tagline, “What’s Outside Comes Inside,” which offers a clue as to what’s in store for the town’s inhabitants on the series this summer. Under the Dome returns for its sophomore season Monday, June 30 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). The premiere episode will be written by Stephen King, whose bestselling novel inspired the series. Attendees can stay connected in the midst of all of the SXSW activities with free and exclusive android/iPhone chargers, which are branded with EXTANT, CBS’s highly anticipated summer series starring Halle Berry – and are fully charged, so no outlet is necessary. Street teams will distribute the chargers from Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9 from a roving Extant pedi-cab. To find out where the Extant pedi-cab will pop up next, SXSW attendees can follow @Extant_CBS on Twitter. EXTANT, premiering Wednesday, July 2(9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), is a mystery thriller about a female astronaut (Berry) trying to reconnect with her family when she returns after a year in outer space. Her mystifying experiences in space lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history. Brooklyn for Liverpool Fashion Fest

Each edition. Fashion Fest surprises us with new trends and ideas in fashion as well as their ambassadors. The previous faces include Erin Heatherton, Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Milla Jovovich who was the face of the last Fashion Fest.
Now is the turn of Brooklyn Decker, model and actress.

Next March 6th, Liverpool will held the twenty-second edition of Fashion Fest, and Brooklyn Decker is the official face on this edition. “Fashion is a form of expression, it’s what it says about us, about our style and sensibility” says Enrique Guzmán, Director of Public Relations and Advertising at Liverpool. Brooklyn Decker at 26 has participated in several film and television productions, such as Just Go With It, sharing credits with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. Battleship with Rihanna, Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch and Liam Neeson. What to Expect When you’re expecting, along with Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Anna Kendrick, Chace Crawford and Elizabeth Banks.

Decker premieres the series “Friends with better lives”, a romantic comedy where will be starring along with Kevin Connolly, Majandra Delfino, James Van Der Beek, Zoe Lister-Jones and Rick Donald. Undoubtedly, this edition of Fashion Fest By Liverpool will give us something to talk about, with its new proposals and several surprises that the Liverpool team has planned.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2014

The 50th Anniversary issue of Sports Illustrated came out today and to our delight our girl made a comeback this year for a special feature  called ‘The Legends” about all the former SI cover models. We uploaded all the pictures to our gallery so check them out!

Brooklyn’s pictures were taken in NYC by the iconic Walter Iooss Jr, the same photographer who did Brooklyn’s cover in 2010.

Brooklyn Decker Is Using Her Legs To Support Vets! [INTERVIEW]

From the Arctic to Afghanistan, Brooklyn Decker is all about dat exploration life! Just recently, the actress, model and bulldog owner did some adventure hiking in Los Angeles. She teamed up with the Sierra Club to help raise awareness about veterans and the importance of taking time to immerse yourself in nature.
When many vets come back from serving, it can often be a really overwhelming experience adjusting back into civilian life. Connecting with nature is a way that the Sierra Club lends support to veterans. After Brooklyn’s hike, we caught up with her to talk about why we need to help vets, turn our computers off and never take long walks with an English bulldog.
MTV Act: What was it about the Sierra Club military outing that made you want to get involved?

Brooklyn: Sierra Club reached out to me a year ago because I post a lot on social media about being outdoors. Just because that’s how I naturally live. They luckily caught on to it and were like, “We love that you love the outdoors and we love being outdoors, and is this something you would want to get involved with?” so for me it felt like the most natural thing to do.

They are starting a new initiative called Sierra Club Outdoors, and they asked me if I would get involved. The biggest thing is pretty simple — it’s just getting people outdoors. There is a special focus in military families and people coming back from serving because it’s proven to be incredibly therapeutic for people with PTSD.

MTV Act: With nearly 22 vets committing suicide daily, this is clearly a huge issue. What were you most surprised to learn during your military outing ?

Brooklyn: What surprised me most, is the most important thing about getting outside: reminding people coming back from serving what they were protecting in the first place. I mean, when you come back from doing this incredible important job and you see an 8-year-old on an iPad, and not having a conversation with their parent, you may be like ‘What did I do this for?’ When you get outdoors, you realize what it’s all about and why you served. It really helps them acclimate back into civilian life.

MTV Act: Back in 2012, you and Chrissy Teigen traveled to the Middle East on a USO tour. What memory stands out the most for you during this trip?

Brooklyn: It’s a little bit morbid but we were there when U.S. Ambassador Stevens was killed, so we saw it at a turbulent time. It really added a lot of weight to what we were doing. You could see these men and women that are over there serving, you could really see their skills come into action. For us, it was also the week of 9/11, so it was a really interesting time to be there. We went over there with an enormous amount of respect for those serving, and after being there in a time where you actually saw them use the skills they have been training for, it really made it more meaningful for both of us.

MTV Act: What do you want fans to know most about this cause that you’re supporting?

Brooklyn: It’s so simple and seems almost silly because it’s a no-brainer: just get outside. Nowadays, we’re all on Twitter, Facebook, and on our computers, I think just getting outside is so good for the psyche, and so good physically. There are so many problems in the country that result in people not being active and out in the outdoors and it’s the simplest way to have a really good experience and a cool Instagram picture. You’re experiencing something that feels real, connecting you to nature and people. Once again, it’s simple but just get your butt off your computer!

MTV Act: Many feel Veterans get overlooked, and often forgotten. Do you feel we as a country do enough for veterans?

Brooklyn: We can always do more. There will always be a huge disparity between what they did for us and what we are doing for them. There are a ton of organizations that are incredibly supportive and try to make the transition easier. Do I think we do enough? No, because how do you repay someone who sacrifices their life? But there are many organizations trying their best.
MTV Act: We have to ask, did your beloved bulldog, Billie Jean, join you on your hike?

Brooklyn: Oh gosh, no! Are you kidding me? Bulldogs are little diva dogs, they could make it 10 steps and then be like, “OK, I want to hang out in the car.”

MTV Act: Random question: What did you wish you knew when you were 17 that you know now?

Brooklyn: I wish at 17, I knew it was OK to say no. I think at 17, I was such a yes person trying to impress, and scared to disappoint people so you say yes to everything. It’s OK to say no, and do what you want. The earlier kids learn the power of no, the better.

Brooklyn’s cover voted the 8th best Sports Illustrated cover of all-times

As you may know, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and to celebrate they did a voting to chose the best 10 covers of all-times, the final results were a combination of the public’s votes, sales and the SI staff. We are very happy to announce that Brooklyn’s 2010 Cover made to the Top 10 and was placed #8.

We are very proud of our girl and although she is #1 for us it’s a huge honor that she was chosen to be in the Top 10, so congratulations to Brooklyn and thanks to everyone who voted for her!

BMW Debuts Television Commercial for the BMW 3 Series featuring Actress Brooklyn Decker.

 

 

“Opportunity Knocks” Premieres as Part of BMW’s Regional Dealer Advertising Buy during NBC’s Broadcast of Sochi 2014.

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – February 10, 2014… BMW of North America will debut an all-new television commercial today featuring the BMW 3 Series and actress Brooklyn Decker.  The ad is part of BMW’s regional advertising buy during NBC’s broadcast of Sochi 2014.  In addition to purchasing national advertising within NBC’s broadcast of Sochi 2014, BMW has purchased regional NBC advertising in the top 17 markets, up from 11 markets during London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

 

Opportunity Knocks,” starring actress Brooklyn Decker, features the BMW 3 Series, the quintessential Ultimate Driving Machine that invented the Sports Sedan segment.  The BMW 3 Series has been named on Car and Driver’s acclaimed 10Best List for 23 years in a row. This spot tells the story of a man who has previously let opportunity pass him by.  Among other missed opportunities shown in a flash-back sequence, we see him break up with his nerdy high-school girlfriend, who in present-day, turns out to be Brooklyn Decker.  When it comes to purchasing the BMW 3 Series, he is not going to let opportunity pass him by again.

 

“I was drawn to this BMW ad because of the humor. I was determined to play myself as a nerdy teenager – down to the braces and not so trendy clothes – just like I was in high school,” said actress Brooklyn Decker. “I loved being able to put some of my personality into the ad and I’m thrilled to have been a part of this project with BMW.”
