Aniston not jealous of my curves: Brooklyn Decker
Monday, August 9, 2010, 16:09 [IST]
New York, (ANI): Fashion model Brooklyn Decker has insisted that former ‘Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston was never jealous of her curves. Decker, 23, who is married to tennis ace Andy Roddick, told Women’s Health that reports of Aniston, 41, being intimidated by her bikini-clad body on the set of “Just Go With It”, were not true.
“Totally bogus .. I couldn’t have had a bigger supporter,” the New York Post quoted her as saying. Decker went on to say that she is proud of her body, even though it is “too big” for the fashion industry.
“I have a curvy body. I have boobs. I”m a size 4. In modelling, that”s often too big,” she added.

Tennis star Andy Roddick’s gorgeous wife Brooklyn Decker opened up about being more than a pretty face and a hot body filling out a bikini.
“I want to live a normal life — drive my kids to school, have tons of animals running around, be barefoot and pregnant,” the 2010 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover girl told Women’s Health in its September issue. “I want all that … just not anytime soon.”
Decker, 23, also discussed the misconceptions that followed her onto the set of Just Go With It, a comedy she’s in alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. She said her tomboy behavior raised a few eyebrows among her castmates.
“When people hear ‘bikini model,’ they have one thing on their mind,” Decker told the magazine. “Then, they see you’re someone who shows up to the set in pajamas and no makeup, watches sports and belches.”
Decker and Roddick married in April of 2009 in a ceremony at his home in Austin, Texas.
Brooklyn was on E! News yesterday talking about her marriage, her body & her career. Here we have the video from the online version of the show. It’s footage from her photoshoot for Women’s Health Magazine

Actress, Model And Sports Illustrated Cover Girl
How to get your body ‘Beach Ready’
Every year, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue generates a lot of attention…and this year is no different. The 2010 cover girl – Brooklyn Decker – the stunning beauty, actress, model and bikini goddess obviously knows a thing or two about looking her best on the beach.
She joins the Blend to share some of her personal tips on how to get your body ‘beach ready,’ and make sure you’re feeling your best when showing some skin and getting close to that special someone this season.
Brooklyn Decker has homes all over the world. Born in Ohio and raised in North Carolina, she has an apartment in New York City and a house in Austin, Texas. The modeling sensation has put up camp at almost every community in the world, shooting spreads as one of the fashion industry’s top models.
After being prodded by friends to look into modeling at the age of 16, Brooklyn met with Charlotte-based agency Evolution Models who helped her to land her first gig in 2002 as the face of prom dress designer Mauri Simone. At 18, Brooklyn moved to New York City and signed with Marilyn Model Management, the prestigious agency that also represents Adriana Lima and French First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. She quickly rose to stardom within the industry, gracing the pages of magazines including ELLE, GQ, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue, and Seventeen and having been featured in major advertising campaigns for Gap, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, and Hollister.
Brooklyn‘s big break came in 2006 when she first appeared in the widely popular Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Her hourglass figure and sophisticated, all-American look earned her a reoccurring spot in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 issues. In February 2010 she cemented her place in pop culture history by appearing on the cover of the magazine. At the young age of 23, Brooklyn Decker has become one of the most in demand models and a recognized face to millions.
Brooklyn Decker is not only the current Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover-model, but also (incase you were unsure whether or not being the SI cover-girl made you the sexiest woman alive), the reigning queen of Esquire magazine’s 2010
Sexiest Woman Alive bracket challenge too. Just a killer body and gorgeous face, though, she is not. Rather, the model and actress is also funny, smart and talented. (She even has a starring role in the upcoming film Just Go With It, co-starring Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler and Nicole Kidman – and that’s not a shabby crowd to be surrounded by.) Oh, and she’s married to Andy Roddick. Trust us, we wanted to hate her too – but really, you can’t, because on top of it all she’s one of the nicest people we know – making hating her nothing short of impossible.
Moreover, she’s as humble, honest and open-hearted as they come and believes in Real Beauty through and through. (She even participates in The Beauty Bean’s Makeup Free Mondays!) Needless to say, it was a no-brainer to name her The Beauty Bean’s Real Beauty.
So, we sat down with Brooklyn Decker and asked her to weigh in on Real Beauty.
What do you think makes someone beautiful?
EVERYTHING that makes a woman unique. Whether it be a crooked smile, or freckles, or just a contagious laugh. I love the little things that make women special.
How do you deal with the pressure for body perfection in our culture?
I think its something every woman struggles with; I think the biggest thing is that we as women should try to be the best versions of ourselves, not fit into a mold. I know I’m very lucky, but I have been criticized by my crazy business and it took me a while to realize that I couldn’t transform myself into something I wasn’t. I had to embrace what made me “me” and really learn to just appreciate and try to improve what I already had.
If you could give your younger self advice about beauty, what would it be?
Less is more! Girls when they are young go CRAZY with products, and when you are young, that’s when you have the most clear pure looks.. I’d tell all the youngins to back off the makeup… Then again, I take that back… when you are young, that’s the time to experiment…even if it’s horrible, you get a good laugh later in life when you look back! So hey, go crazy! Why not??
What’s your one, can’t-live-without-it beauty product?
Cetaphil face wash! It took me years to find something for my ever-evolving skin. This is perfect. It strips my face of makeup, but I’m not left with that cracky dry feeling and my skin is clearer than ever with it! Plus, it’s perfect pre-Makeup Free Mondays, which I participate in whenever I can. It’s just nice because women can feel part of a united movement that embraces natural beauty! Besides, I have to have a lot of make up on for work most days… so that one day off gives my skin room to breathe. It’s so fresh and freeing.
