It’s Official: Brooklyn is the ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’

Posted by clau with No Comments

We’re so happy for this, but after a lot of time finally the voting of Esquire’s contest for ‘Sexiest Woman Alive 2010’ it’s over! & our girl Brooklyn is the winner

Brooklyn Decker Is Your 2010 Sexiest Woman Alive

Six rounds, sixty-four competitors, and five-million votes later, one supermodel stands alone atop the (fake) podium in Esquire’s readers’-choice tournament. Revisit her many shining moments after the slow-motion replay below.

BROOKLYN, New York — The most beautiful tennis trophy ever is taking home the first-ever Sexiest Woman Alive Madness trophy.
Twenty-three-year-old Brooklyn Decker dominated the veteran Heidi Klum on her home court here this past week in the finals of Esquire’s upset-laden, fan-favorite bracket. The blond captured 89 percent of the vote for a championship run nobody — with the possible exception of Seal, who was home taking care of Klum’s newborn baby — really saw coming.

“I was very surprised to make it this far in the tournament,” Decker said in a courtside interview before the last game. (She rushed off the court with head coach Andy Roddick immediately after the buzzer and delayed her victory speech.) “I mean, did you see the picture of me picking my nose? I’ve had a very lucky year with the Sports Illustrated cover, the new movie, and now this. Let’s hope good things come in threes.”

They certainly do, as the swimsuit model proved she wasn’t the only superstar in a gold uniform capable of a triple-double this June: Decker busted out 32, 24, and 34 in the kind of performance not seen since February, when she scored big in Sports Illustrated‘s Maldives Invitational. After hustling out to an early lead, the Ohio native got aggressive with Klum, employing her signature cartwheel move — which led to huge mid-round victories over three Victoria’s Secret models — in maneuvering through the key for easy buckets in the first half.

“I think my general physical prowess, whether it’s cartwheels or being able to stand in cold water for long periods of time, could only serve me well,” Decker said.

Klum recovered well after giving birth at halftime, but despite her intimidating presence — “It’s not normal to look that good with three full-time jobs and four children,” Decker admitted — the former SI cover model relinquished another crown to someone cooler under the pressure of public judging.

Indeed, Decker overcame early accusations of tampering, which were quickly dismissed by a commissioner’s office that had its hands busy all spring with Olivia Munn’s cheating fans, Megan Fox’s mind-blowing loss, and, of course, Lane Kiffin’s inspiring performance.

More rumors of ‘Transformers 3’ …

We now have even more rumors of Brookie for ‘Transformers 3’

Fox Out, Arterton In “Transformers 3”?

By Garth Franklin

Well this is a surprise, actress Megan Fox will not be returning for the upcoming third “Transformers” reports

There were rumours of her being sacked, but Fox’s publicist released a statement saying “Megan Fox will not be starring in ‘Transformers 3’. It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Fox made a name for herself as Shia LaBeouf’s love interest in the first two films. After the release of the second film though, Fox and director Michael Bay had a public spat which recently seemed to have cooled as production on the third film approached.

Deadline added to the story saying the decision was ultimately up to director Michael Bay and that Ehren Kruger’s script gives Shia’s character “a new love interest [which] makes more sense for the story.”

In the few hours since then however several potential replacement names have already emerged with “Prince of Persia” and “Clash of the Titans” actress Gemma Arterton said to be the leading candidate according to The Wrap.

Also in the running are Brooklyn Decker, Bar Rafaeli and Aussie supermodel Miranda Kerr with the latter two having apparently already read for the role. Filming kicks off this month.

Brooklyn Decker, replacing Megan Fox?

Posted by clau with No Comments

Today it was announced that Megan Fox won’t be back in ‘Transformers 3’ & rumors about her replacement starte … & here we have an article where it says thar our girl Brookie is one of Michael Bay’s option!

Arterton to Replace Fox in ‘Transformers 3?’

Published by Jeff Leins on May 19th, 2010

Gemma ArtertonGemma Arterton is the frontrunner to play Shia LaBeouf’s female love interest in Transformers 3.  It was announced early today Megan Fox was ousted when Paramount and director Michael Bay decided not to pick up her option for the threequel.  (Read more about that here.)

Sources for The Wrap say Michael Bay has already discussed the coveted role with the British-born actress.  At 24, Arterton is the same age as Fox, but brings as much experience starring in blockbusters, such as Clash of the Titans, Quantum of Solace, and this month’s Prince of Persia.

Not wasting any time to meet beautiful women, Bay has also been talking to swimsuit model Bar Rafaeli, who acted in the indie thriller Session, and Victoria’s Secret angel Miranda Kerr, whose experience is limited to an episode of “How I Met Your Mother” (as herself).

He’s also met with sexy young actress Brooklyn Decker who appears in Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s next rom-com, the aptly-titled Just Go With It.

Is Bay seriously considering these women, or is he just hitting on hot ladies?  Rafaeli, Kerr, and Decker barely have any experience outside of a few bit parts.  Wait a minute, neither did Fox before the first film.  There’s a pattern here…

As for Arterton, I’m yet to be impressed with anything she’s done.  Other than her good looks, she’s sort of a blank slate of emotion on screen.  Maybe it’s just the Clash connection, but from what I’ve seen she’s the female Sam Worthington.

Oh well, I’m not sure what I was expecting from Michael Bay and a third CGI-heavy robots-fighting-robots movie.  I’d say it’s a missed opportunity, but talent hasn’t been a factor for the first two.  Why start now?

SOURCE … So, would you like to see Brooklyn in the next ‘Transformers’?
