SHE’S been hailed as the “sexiest woman alive”, graced the pages of Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret catalogues and has begun to make a name for herself in Hollywood.
Supermodel and actress Brooklyn Decker can now add ambassador for the Magic Millions race carnival to her resume.
The stunning blonde, whose girl-next-door face and ultimate bikini-model body won the heart of her tennis-ace husband Andy Roddick, will be the star attraction on the Gold Coast this Saturday for the Magic Millions race day.
It’s the first time the stunning 24-year-old has been trackside, and she can’t wait.
“There aren’t many hat-wearing occasions in America so I can’t wait to get there and see what it is like,” she said.
“I think I will feel a little bit like Kate Middleton.
“My own style is a little more boy-meets-girl so having the chance to dress up in a traditional, lady-like way will be fun.”
Decker is a big fan of Australian labels sass & bide and Ellery. She discovered them when she lived in Sydney for six months in 2005 at the start of her modelling career.
After conquering the modelling world, she made her big-screen debut in last year’s hit Just Go With It, starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
She’ll next be seen in the action blockbuster Battleship and the comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting.
“It’s a hard transition going from model to actor,” she said.
“It’s such a cliche but I’ve been really lucky and I feel thankful people keep hiring me. I don’t know why they are but I’m not going to argue it – I’m having a really good time.”
Decker will travel to Australia with Roddick and spend a week at the Gold Coast before heading to Melbourne to support her husband at the Australian Open.
